Ever wonder what a major corporation’s well known logo would look like if they had a web2.0 makeover? This illustration below may give you an idea. Although funny for its graphical stereotypes I think it also shows some of the ways in which web2.0 names have been effective. By contrasting the traditional media and web2.0 naming conventions it shows how web2.0 companies have worked around things like expensive and boring keyword domains with funky memorable web2.0 names. The new wave of web designers have also developed their own graphical language that has become quite recognizable for branding web2.0 web sites.
